Simply amazing - By: Flow, 03 May 2008
Since the first moment I started reading Fruits Basket I was hooked. I'm now up to volume 19 & I have to say it just keeps getting better & better. If I had to reccomend any manga it would be this. Beautiful artwork, gripping story-this book has everything. Some bits made me laugh out loud, some made me cry. BUYTHISBOOK <3
Don't Bother - By: Shatakan, 06 Dec 2007
And absolute travesty of a series, there is simply no excuse for something this boring & shallow. Stick to Akira & GITS if you want actual fun - only turn to this if you are a wapanese fag
You cant call yourself a manga lover if you dont have this!! - By: Vanora, 04 Nov 2007
I originaly read this first volin my local library, i can tell you i didnt take me long to get completely hooked! I bought it soon after with the next few vols & i read them so eagerly that it left me wanting to read more! I TOTALY recomend the series to anyone who loves shojo manga. Theres somthing for everyone: Comedy, action (fights between Kyo & Yuki never seem to stop happening lol), romance, dicovery.. nameing just a few things. It's stated that this is the no.1 selling shojo mangain the world & reading it i can see why. Dont miss you chance to read this heart warming story of fantasy & friendships that cannot be broken even by a terrible curse.

Book: Fruits Basket
Author: Natsuki Takaya
Me & a group of friends have all read some of the fruits basket books & have found them reall enjoyable! This would be a great christmas present for a manga lover! The PLot Tohru Honda is a normal sixteen year old girl, recently orphaned. She stumbles apon the "prince" of her high school (Yuki Sohma) & his house & cousin Shigure when they find out she's livingin a tent they offer her a house & food. (She becomes their new house keeper) Later she meets Kyo Sohma...Yuki's violent cousin. Tohru happens to hug Kyo (by accident) and... (this is unexpcted) Kyo turns into a cat...She then accidently hugs Shigure & Yuki. Yuki turns into a rat & Shigure a dog...This is the great "Sohma secret" Yuki & Kyo do not get on & often have fights...Tohru may have to have her memory erased (I won't tell you if it gets erased or not) then she has to move back to her Grandpa's house...(Will she see the Sohmas again?) A captavating tale of fantasy, romance, comedy & the-complete-opposite-of-normal-life!
Fruits Basket - By: Kate, 18 Sep 2007
I love the whole Fruits Basket series. It is the best Manga I have ever read. I just got book number 17 today & I have already read it. I was just wondering what is the difference between this Fruits Basket volume 1 & the original one because this book has 400 & something pages & the other one has only 200.
