Good but not perfect. - By: Jon ssh, 02 Oct 2008
I bought this & several other books before starting my studio project. It was helpful & reasonably well written & did prove a good read! However it is an American book & suffers from dealing with mainly US based products. Most of the info translates, some does not & further research was needed.
Having read the book I ended up making the decision to have a consultation with Recording Architecture. In this 3 hours I learnt more than I hadin a year! Having said that I am glad I had read this book as it meant I had a good grasp of the issues & problems I faced. Buy the book, read it, read others, visit websites. Use your knowledge gained, mix it with common sense, & you will be alright. Remember none of this stuff is cheap..
