Great for first year teachers- By: , 31 Mar 2001 I'min my 1st year of a teaching degree & I found this book the most helpful & easy to read of those suggested to us. It gives you so many ideas, especially on how to diagnose different childrens problems with reading & practical suggestions on how to deal with them. I think it would comein useful to both trainee teachers & those alreadyin practice as it is so much easier to read than most other texts on the subject. The accompanying book 'Writing Under Control' is just as helpful.
