Not so bad, but not great either - By: Gia fan, 24 Sep 2008
I bought this book too expecting a little more out of it, like some fabulous new trick i hadn't seen or thought of yet. I was a little saddened to find that its more of a guide for total beginers, who want very basic guidance of relationshipsin general.
There is a little background into the history of lesbians, depicted through varrious old art works. The odd phrase here or there is defined & a few basic techniques are demonstrated & eplained. Finnishing with a guide to lesbian safe sex. Its a touchy feely kind of approach, excuse the pun, that leaves you feeling a little patronised.
This book is nothing to shout about & ill be looking into finding something a little more "out there". Ive given it a three star rating because there is nothing seriously wrong with it but there is nothing above average either. hope this helps
Have I Seen That Cover Before? - By: Bonnie J. Ammon, 19 Jan 2008
I am amazed that the new cover design of this soft version echoes another VERY popular positions book, (you know which one ladies), Lesbian Sex 101 by Jude Schell. Is this a form of flattery? I think not.
The photography mimics the models, grey background & most notably 2 of Jude's positions, #42, "Tailgate" & #90, "Ready to Wear." Harding's name isin the exact same suggestive place as on the cover of Schell's book. This is an obvious rip-off & an attempt to ride on the coat-tails of a much more critically acclaimed book.
a book that states the obvous - By: Ms. Chele Z. Hanley, 24 Jul 2006
this sex manual is about as erotic as a car manual. a total dissapointment i learnt nothing new from it. the whole 'how to come out' stuff was a waste of spacein a book thats ment to be about sex. the section on toys was short & had no good advice on how to pick good ones & also only mentioned the obvous it had nothin on dubble enders etc. it reminded me of one of them early sex & puberty books your mum gives to you when your 10. the paintings were nice but their own illerstrations looked early 90's & outdated. the style of righting was as sexy as an nhs leaflet on genatel worts.
Not a Bood Of Positions - By: Jannie Pie, 29 Mar 2005
When I hear Kama Sutra, I think of illustration of lots of various positions. That is not the casein this book. It's a broad overview of lesbian sex, a sort of Lesbian 101.
Unless you're new to lesbian sex, skip this book.
If you're new to lesbian sex, you may find this interesting. That's why I gave it 3 stars.
