Awful absolutely Awful - By: I. R. Manton, 05 Oct 2008
This book is writtenin the style of an 11 year old completing his first Secondary School essay. Stephen Richards as a professional writer should be embarrassed about what he has written.
The book is an account of the life of Brian Cockerill. Let me save you some money as the following is a summary of the book.
I did him, I brayed him etc etc. 243 pages where all the author has done is basically change some names & places each page.
I'm sure Brian really is rock hard but it would have been more interesting to get a little more detail about some of the events. Every now & again he does try & the book flows at this point. Then we go back to pages of braying people. The prison chapter is interesting & if the rest of the book contained similar stuff it would be a reasonable read.
I am glad I was given this book so did not have to pay any money for it. I think what says it all is the person who gave it to me gave up after 50 pages because they thought it was awful as well.
The Cockerill - By: Mr. N. D. Yeeles, 15 Jun 2008
Good book, well written & factually sound with a slice of humour that is required for what can often be a dark subject.
HARDEST MAN IN BRITAIN OR SO HE'S RECKONS? - By: Jason Thorne, 13 Jan 2008
Can't make my mind up with this book so I will sit on the fence & say it was pretty good. From the first page to the last it's action all the way Mr Cockerill claims to be the hardest manin Britain & nobody as questioned that has he meet Carlton Leach!!!
The Tax Man way is the only way - By: Trendy, 08 Dec 2007
Never mind drug money, this is blood money! If you ever wanted to find the axis of evil then the deliverance of justice dished out to drug mugs hits the hot spot. The retarded drugsters are pinpointed then homedin upon by the grand master of disaster (The Tax Man) & laid out like dead rodents for all to see, & not a policemanin sight as it happened, now that is justice!! If you think lawful means is going to cure the curse of drugsin the UK then you are very wrong, a good nosebleed seems to work immediately. The small struggling group that we have come to know as the police are now outnumbered by the brain dead junkies that inhabit the UK, so why shouldn't someone like Brian Cockerill redress the balance, even if it is only by a teeny weeny little bit. The book is full of comeuppances for the junkie brigade, & yes Brian did have to squash a few junkies into the ground while clearing a path for decent people to walk through. Three cheers for Brian Cockerill. Hip-hip, hurray!!!!
Not a good read - By: Mr. S. Robertson, 25 Nov 2007
After reading the book synopsis I was really looking forward to getting stuck into it, however I was very disappointed. If you are looking for anin depth read into the 'taxing' system & how these underground people operate you maybe be left feeling let down. From page 1 to page 243 it's all about how the author brayed every living peronin the north east. If you want to read 243 pages of violence then buy this book, otherwise rent a Bruce Lee dvd.
