Too many heroes, spoil the book - By: BatDan, 24 Sep 2008
As Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons would say- 'Worst Batman story ever'. Firstly, this shouldn't be called a Batman book because the Dark Knight hardly features at all. This story is chaos from start to finish, with what must be every heroin the DC universe appearing at some point - half of whom I've never heard of.

Basically the story is that the Joker is told he only has a short while to live & decides to go out with a bang. Many, many, many heroes try to stop him & eventually...... oh I can't be bothered. I normally read any book I review at least twice but I barely got through this once.

If you're thinking of buying this atrocity don't buy it from the good folk at Amazon - you can have my copy! If you've read any of my other reviews you'll know I'm always positive as I'm a huge Batman fan, but I have nothing good to say about this one. Simply terrible
awful - By: N. Lancaster, 30 Aug 2008
I have tried to read this three times now but I just cannot finish it because it is so awful.

The artwork is terrible & the plot has no way of keeping the reader interested at all. Like the previous review states, there is hardly any Batman at all & the ending is so sudden & poor that I was glad that I skipped to the end after part 3.

Do not buy this book.
Disappointing - By: G. R. Stovold, 09 Aug 2008
When I looked at the front cover of this book I instantly thought "Sweet, Brian Bolland's done another batman story" but after I received this & flipped through the pages, I realised that none of the artwork matches that of the cover. There are a few different artists on this graphic novel & it gets better through out, but still, its no where as good as I expected it to be.

The story is pure dogma. In a way its just claiming Joker is awesome without showing any real actions he'd be proud of. In a way it suffers the same fate as the Emperor Joker story. Also Batman himself hardly makes any appearances. He only shows up 3 timesin the entire book.

Seriously, this is so bad even Joe Schumacher would hate it. I really regret giving this 2 stars.

Batman:Killing Joke is still the only Joker based story I've read thats worth buying.
