Should be renamed"EVERYTHING you need to know to get pregnant"! - By: julie, 10 Oct 2008
This book is brilliant. The author read over 400 books & used the information, which is largely research based & all referenced. The diet is the major recommendation but there are all sorts of ther factors which are really interesting, ranging from exposure to light & sun - both day & night! Research has been done on so many different areas, but this information just is not widely publicised. It's so annoying to find all sorts of things which you've been doingin ignorance which negatively affect your fertility.

I found this book easy to read, well explained & thorough. She goes into various health conditions which could unknowingly affect your ability to conceive, &in a constructive way - giving options & suggestions for rectifying or reducing problems. She also goes into herbs & alternative options a little, but its clear that they are alternative as they are not backed up with research, so you can decide how far you want to go. Overall FANTASTIC & i wish i'd had it a year ago!
Excellent and meticulously researched guide - By: R Morrell, 11 Aug 2008
Not only to fertility, but to diet. This book was written by a barrister for 17 years who made a lifestyle change to become a nutritionist. The author recommends organic, raw, vegan food & includes some superb recipes for true healthy living. She also gives lots of tips on what to avoid & why - microwave ovens, electrical clocks by your bed, cleaning products etc. If this sounds boring - it isn't. Sarah has a racy, clear writing stye interspersed with humour & anecdotes. It's truly a life-changing book for the individual, the family & the planet (lots of green tips too), not to mention the babies that are born as a result of the mother following her recommendations. My own research has found out congruent dietary benefits & many people have benefited from following Sarah's dietary recommendations, & I detail some of themin Travelling Magically: How to Turn Your Journey into a Life-changing Experience, which talks about, among other things, how changing your diet can improve your experience of travelling & your life.
The right blend of Science and Simplicity - By: Annette M. Sanders, 04 Aug 2008
A fantastic book! It has all the information & facts you need & is writtenin a simple easy to understand manner with just the right dose of humour. Even if you aren't planning on having a baby right now, it's well worth following at least some of the suggestionsin the book to keep your options open for further down the line.... you never know.
detailed content and very entertaining - By: Frankie Evans, 12 Jun 2008
This is by far & away the best fertility book I've read, because of its great combination of content & tone. It covers everything (and more!) - well researched with plenty of references; & it is also well written & had me frequently laughing out loud - unusual for books covering this topic! This book alongside Toni Weschler's book - the two are complimentary - pretty much make a complete library.
Great Reference Book for Healthy Living and Fertility - By: S. Mcdow, 10 Jun 2008
This is a great book for anyone wanting more information on how to increase their fertility. Most of the other books & websites I have seen on this topic repeat the same limited information. This book includes alot of new material & tips that I have never read about or seen before & its all collated & summarisedin a very easy to read format.

I really liked the anti ageing & general wellness tips also. This book is a good reference generally for women (and men) on how to live & eat to increase their general health. Sarah's sense of humour & writing style is very easy to read but it backed up by lots of scientific research so it comes across as extremely well researched & credible material.

I highly recommend this book to all women thinking about fertility & especially to women over 30, even those not thinking about having a baby right now.
