I loved this book from the moment I started reading it, not just because I'm Sikh & I indentify with it but because it made me feel comfortable & capable of understanding what was being said. I've read many books on many faiths & usually I find them quite daunting & somewhat confusing. This book is not only clear but the script itself is very easy to grasp with beautiful images that don't overwhelm you.
Every household, Sikh or not Sikh should have a copy of this book, as a point of reference & attaining knowledge it really is a brilliant investment. For a Sikh family this is an ideal way of introducing your young ones into the faith without pushing anything hardcore onto them.
A must have for every modern day family all over the globe.

Beautiful little treasure chest on Sikhism - By: Mr. Jasjit Singh, 25 May 2004 I think that this is one of the best books on Sikhism that you can buy. So far I've bought 6 copies of this book & given it to friends & family as presents. It is a quality publication divided up into separate topics, with beautiful little photographs & some of the most wonderful sayings of the Gurus translatedin to simple English. An excellent present to give someone on Vasakhi or on a Gurpurb. But make sure you also get one for yourself.
