TRIPE - By: Maisie, 20 Jan 2008
I should have realised this would be a bad book when I heard he is friend's with Pete Price, the local DJin Merseyside. The book is full of inaccuracies & is irritating. How on earth he expects us to believein the paranormal id beyond belief. Don't buy this book if you want a serious case study of the paranormal. It is really boring.
Amazing - By: CloudNumberNine, 08 Nov 2007
Amazing is a word that I would not normally use to describe a book, but Tom Slemen's books are literally that - amazing. Tom has the eerie ability to draw the reader into a world of mystery & the supernatural, setin places that the reader can identify with. I would go as far as saying that Tom Slemen is the greatest writer Liverpool has ever produced.
weird and wonderful - By: Mr. Jw Timney, 03 Oct 2006
Having bought haunted liverpool 2 whilein Liverpool I enjoyed it so much that I bought this editon backin london (where I live). HL6 is more of the same it is a weird & wonderful collection of creepy tales related to Liverpool, well written & very descriptive you are easily able to build a picture of the charactersin your mind. It won't help you sleep any easier but HL6 is well worth a look for true believers....

Possibly the best ghost books in existence - By: Widbear Maximus, 02 Nov 2005
All of this series is gripping & instructive. They really make you think about the nature of reality, the nature of humans & the ways of the world. Not only are the ghost stories sometimes VERY scary, the books really open your mind to other perspectives, & treat peoplein them with respect & compassion. I am from Widnes, so know Liverpool fairly well, but I think anyone anywhere can enjoy this series. I only hope Tom Slemen continues writing them.
