Michael O'Leary has produced some very good photobooks about WW2 airplanes, & this is one of them. The quality of the colour photographs of the surviving Flying Fortresses is good to very good & this book gives you 128 pages full of them, showing all surviving (?) 'Forts'in almost every known colour they ever flew.
The only thing missing is some WW2 colour material, & some background text, for the book is focussing soley on photographs of surviving Forts. This is hardly surprising as you know that Michael O'Leary took all photographs himself & saw his first Fortressin the early 1960s. I look forward to buy more books from him, owing already three of the at least seven titles published by the publisher of this book, while I know the man made several good books with other publishers (e.g. MBI) as well.
