animal wise - By: Marilyn Bennett, 10 Sep 2007
Once again Ted Andrews is the master. For the uninitiated this book will open your eyes with wonder at what the animals & birds can teach us if we are prepared to meet them half-way. You can find your totem just by meditating on the subject & asking the question. You will be given the answer. It is then up to you to hear what is said. What this book does is to teach you the significance of animal & birdsin your life. Look & listen & stop a moment & hear the earths heartbeat. It beats for you. The animal, birds & insects will talk to you if you listen.
Great addition! - By: E. Jones, 06 Jun 2007
At first I thought that this book would be repeating alot of the material alreadyin another book by Ted Andrews called "Animal Speak" but it goes into more details for alot of animals & has great background & meditations/excercises to help you on your way.....I love it!
a sign of the destiny! - By: S. Silvia, 22 Mar 2007
One day, on a workshop with an american indian about meditation, he helped me to find my totem animal & that's when I got interestedin knowing more about animals. I noticed that this man, the american indian, had taken this book with him all the way from England (and he also had "Animal Speak" of the same author) so I bought them both! There are detailed information about the most common mammels, insects etc. You will surely find yours!!!
For Those In Tune With Nature - By: Joanna Dunsby, 13 Mar 2003
This book makes you realise that animals, plants, birds & insects arein this world to give you messages of strength, hope & change. I have been astounded as the synchronicity of the appearance of animalsin my life at just the right time. The messages are very relevant & very clear. After a couple of days of stomach ache, I went for a walk & came across a rabbit - which is unusual where I live. I looked up the meaning of the rabbit & it told me that I needed to look at my eating habits & go on a vegetarian diet. After taking the rabbits advice, the symptoms have eased. Its that simple. In a world where people do not get to see much of nature due to work or busy schedules, it is worth making the effort to be a bit more conscious of the messages that are constantly being brought to us. This book is a perfect companion to Ted Andrews Animal Speak & gives a much wider reference of animals, birds & insects. This book gives you waysin which to become more attuned to wildlife & gives clear instructions on how to "build" your own animal totem & communicate with animal guides. Having read several books on this theme, Ted Andrews is,in my opinion, by far the best author on the subject.
