Quite personal- By: , 22 Jul 2002 The one thing I actually do not like is the way this book is so filled with the authors' personal anecdotes. It is a weird mix of being instructional & factual (although most of it is stuff that you findin abundance online of you look) & being an insight into somein my mind too personal matters. However, I think this is a good book for anyone who has a beginning interestin bottoming, & for those who are more experienced it will offer a little more than just an updated library. It is one of those books that makes the attempt to cover most of the scenein a rather limited amount of space, & the result is somewhat a brush-over of things that generally require much more attention. Having said this, I liked the book. It is not exactly a coffee table book, but the new cover is so much more pleasing than the first edition (save for the silly cartoon that has somehow managed to still sneak into the O).
Being a submissive myself, I found that it reinforced some of the more important aspects as well as gave me some inspiration & motivation to want to experience new things. It is a good companion book to additional literature on the subject. Also, I would reckommend Jay Wiseman's SM101.
