This book is a must for anybody looking for, buying or renovating a propertyin France. It contains a treasure chest of information & tips on every aspect of purchasing, planning, budgeting, renovating & maintaining French property & includes suppliers websites, addresses & telephone numbers.
What this book does not contain is DIY instructions for doing the work itself.

Of the three books on this subject I have purchased to date this one is by far the most useful.

I found this book really helpful & full of practical information & warnings to help you avoid pitfalls. The glossary of building terms at the back is particularly useful.
