I'm actually doing my GCSE's & I have to admit that this revision guide is clearly within the top Spanish revision guides. The different sections are split into two groups: foundation & higher & is easily readable with a fun colour scheme.
The grammar is also extremely well explained with clear definitions for extra vocabulary. I would easily recommend this book to anyone.
On older viewpoint - By: , 31 Mar 2006 This is an excellent book, not only for GSCE students, but also for mature new learners, seeking to gain useful & usable knowledge of the Spanish language. The foundation/higher options are an added perk.
GCSE!! - By: , 07 Sep 2004 I have just taken my GCSES & i found this book the best. It exaplins grammar really well & puts it into practise. My teacher recomended it so buy it!! The phrases are easy to learn & the book breaks sections down to help you learn them. Well worth buying!!
The best Revision guide - By: A.L. Sommer, 02 Jan 2004 I have this guides equivalentin French also & i must say they are amazing. Each double spread has its own topic & is split into 4 sections. On the left hand side of the pagein the top half is the 'foundation' section, this is common with everybody doing Spanish GCSE. It consists of speech bubbles of widely used sentencesin this topic, they are simple & show you many different sentence structures. At the bottom of this page is key vocabularyin blue, with the odd picture to help you along. On the right at the topin green is the higher section, this also consists of speech bubbles with more complicated 'higher' tier sentence structures. At the bottom of this page is grammar usually related to the subjectin some way & at the end of the book is a section on exam teqnique with a brekadown of a few questions & what examiners are looking for. This book is colourful & user-friendly.
