We found this a very clear & practical book. It helps you understand how the whole process works & explains the things you can do to help.
It is very comprehensive & I think very reassuring, I would certainly recommend it for everyone thinking of starting a family.

This book provides an excellent overview of things to consider prior to conception including a section on what to do if you fail to conceive. We found it very informative & comprehensive.

Can someone translate ?
As a Newcomer to this subject the author lost me on the first 10 pages due to over-usage of medical & fertility terms that I was/am not familiar with.
After trying to read it a second & third time, I gave up & asked a friend to help me instead. She was much better able to explain the subject to me. If you really want to find out about your fertility days & when is the best moment to conceive: go & consult your doctor or a friend that has been through all this before!

I came off the pill after several years & thought it would just happen over night.Of coursein reality things aren't so simple. It took 11 months for my periods to return & after several doctor's appointments & scans to check all was well, I decided to take the positive approach & get to know my own body by buying a Fertility book. How glad I was when the following month I discovered that I was pregnant! A simple & very informative guide to your own fertility. Thanks!
Re-assuring and easy to read - By: , 15 Aug 2003 I found this book very imformative & easy to read, & it answers all those silly little questions about conception & fertility that some other books don't address.
Having read another book on this subject before this one, I found this very book re-assuring, instead of focusing on all the things that could be wrong, it gives a positive outlook on achieving a pregnancy & it has people's own stories which are very encouraging!
I would recommend this book to anyone that is planning to try for a baby, or for someone who is doing so at the moment with little success!
