What the... - By: Sora-Livana, 05 Sep 2010
I'm... mind boggled. How the hell did this book managed to get published? Hell, how did it manage to get past first draft? It's probably one of the worst pieces of 'literature' (a term used loosely, I assure you) that I've ever had the misfortune of polluting my mind with. Featuring loosely disguised Mormon propaganda, absolutely no discernible plot & condoning of an abusive relationship, it really beggars belief that any adult would encourage & easily-influenced teenager to even touch this masterpiece of bad writing. Not to mention the lack of coherence & research prevalent & so characteristic of the entire series, I can only hope that people come to their senses before it has done much more damage on the young girls of my generation.

And for the record, I was 15 years old (and I'm female) when I first read this book & I can assure you that I have the same opinion now of it as I did back then. The only reason I cared to even finish it (arduous though that task was) was because I had wasted precious money of this thing.
A great finale, essential reading if you're a fan of the series. - By: Simon, 04 Sep 2010
I recently finished reading breaking dawn & as my review states,in my opinion this is a great ending to the series, I loved every minute of it, even though I couldn't resist reading spoilers online that gave away major plot points of the story before I'd finished Eclipse.
I probably would have enjoyed the book a bit more if I hadn't read those spoilers but it was thuroughly enjoying to read exactly how everything played out with all of the details & amazing pictures meyer has painted here.

Having read all of the main books of the Twilight Saga (the only one I haven't read is the Bree Tanner story) I truly don't understand why so many people hate the series as much as they do, I am a 26 year old straight man, I do have a fairly broad range of interests when it comes to my entertainment needs, but I rarely read many novels, I still absolutely love this entire series, I don't fit the assumed target audience, but still I find all of the books utterly amazing & I think Breaking Dawn is my favorite of all of the books, particularly the last book of Breaking Dawn.
I can not wait for this masterpiece to be released as a film, even though I imagine the same will happen to it as has happened to the other booksin the series, things will IMO undoubtedly feel rushed, but to see how the movie's producers translate the last of the series into a film will I imagine be awesome, even if it's only a fraction as great as this amazing book.
Seriously you have to read it if you like the other books.
Disappointing - By: N. Crawford, 01 Sep 2010
After watching Twilight on DVD, I was hooked. I read the first three booksin a week & enjoyed all of them. Am half way through Breaking Dawn & am soooo disappointed - she's ruined the whole saga!! I'm all for happy endings & everything neatly tied up but the charactersin this book bear no resemblance to themselves. Wish I'd made up my own ending!

You will probably buy this book. You will probably read this book. Of course, you have read the other three, you need to read the ultimate book to satisfy your need for more. However, prepare yourself for a totally anticlimax.
briliant! - By: Mrs Z M Haines, 01 Sep 2010
I spoiled the surprise by looking on net to find out about breaking dawn, so had vague idea what was going to happen, but the book had me riveted to see what happened to Bella, & wasn't disappointed! Got a bit tedious toward the end, but an excellent read! Looking forward to seeing what they do with this as a film!
