A proper new analysis of Cagliostro - By: Mr. Ivan Coldharbour, 15 Sep 2008
This book is a real triumph. It does not hide its authors' passion for the subject - Cagliostro & his ritual. However, it is not a biased effort: it is wonderfully transparent & well-referenced, & enables the reader to make up his or her mind.
Personally, I consider this to be first & foremost a biography. It is a fascinating tale worthy of the best of fiction; & it is beautifully written. The language is involving & the authors' enthusiasm & expertise, as well as thoroughness, constantly shine through.
It was about time that this subject was brought up to date, & I am pleased that it has been done soin such a high calibre fashion. This book eclipses the earlier monograph by Trowbridge. Buy it, & read it.
The Masonic Magician Wonder - By: Rowan Lee-Foyster, 15 Sep 2008
As a non mason I found this book facinating. A masonic ritual designed to summon angels & to take control of the mystical powers of the planets. I think i may go to the Grand lodge of scotland to see the orignial manuscript of the ritual.
