this is a great book for anyone who wants to find out about environmentaly friendly houses. i would definitely recommend it!

This is not the biggest bookin the world but it conatins an amazing amount of really useful info presentedin a really accessible way. I've just read the book & I am bowled over. Ive read quite a lot about 'green homes' & this is by far the simplest - but it is also the most packed with information because the author describes what the technology can do, when you might want to use it & the pros & cons. Tim Pullen is not afraid to say that some things may not make financial (or even carbon footprint reducing) sense. He is also keen to promote what he calls 'The Unsexy' such as insulation. Quite simply the best book to date on green homes.
