I am a lecturer & also a research studentin marine aero-hydrodynamics & boat design. The content of this book is perfect for anyone with a good mathematical background who is looking for an intellegent overview of the subject with both a theoretical & practical slant.

I found this book informative & well written - it has put a lot of knowledge that I have acquired from various sources over the years into context. Unlike many books of this ilk, it really does give a broad & strong introduction to the field with enough theoretical discussion to be really useful.
