Essential for all strategists, & not just military ones. With little imagination, the tactical & strategic 'advice' within this reference can often, if not always, be extrapolated to many contemporary contexts.

Outside of religious texts, the core/original Sun Tzu work is one of the most enduring works of writingin the history of civilisation. To be so widely known even today, is obviously a testament.

Would recommend any non-fiction reader add one of the reputable versions of Sun Tzu's work to the "essentials" colletion.
