Used this book extensively to plan our visit & throughout our holiday. Maps are useful, descriptions accurate & provides good general info on beaches, food, resorts etc. we agreed it with many of the reviews & recommendations & felt it gave an honest opinion of the great & not so good parts of the island.
We also went to Kefalonia for a couple of days & the book was good value when using it for both islands.
Allin all this was a good buy - handy size to take each day & good value.

This book covers Kefallonia & Zakynthosin equal proportions so is best for people visiting both islands. It mainly details sites to see such as museums & historical buildings. It briefly mentions the villages & surrounding areas with a useful map of both islands. It has a section on the history of the island, some helpful holiday tips & ideas of what to do on the islands. Overall a handy guide if your main interests are to do with museums etc. Also fairly useful to everyone else.
