The Audio CD's are copies, & the so called 'Book' is a small thin photocopies booklet which fits inside the case. The packaging is just a photocopies bit of paper with bad pixilation. One cD did not play, or kept skipping. When it did play it just spurted out wordsin phrases so quikly you didnt have time to follow. I returned this item.

When I put the CDs into itunes to transfer to my itouch, CD1 came up as Bruce Springsteen + the e str band 75/85. This will give you a hint to the poor quality of this product.
I am wanting to learn a few Swedish pleasantries for a future trip & this course should do that but it is very fast & confusing & you have to be very quick with your pause button.
Average course. Not the best. - By: Grifster, 16 Jan 2008 This is not a step by step tuition guide. The 2 CD's merely spurt out the English words or phrases & then the Swedish follows. There is no order or sequence to the tuition, so it gets confusing trying to find the words or phrasesin the booklet to follow them.
The booklet itself looks like it's been photocopied & is of poor quality.
This course was madein the USA & for Cassette. The audio has just been copied to CD format. This means that the recordings refer to sides 1-4 of the cassette. This is confusing, as it makes you believe the CD's are double sided. They are not, the recordings just continue after a 5 second pause after referring to the end of Sides 1-4.
I would only recommend it for the very basicsin Swedish & because of the cheap price. A more interactive DVD course would be much betterin this day & age. You get what you pay for.

This is a handy guide for the traveller wishing to pickup some of the local language & to help get around. I bought several of these courses & I found after a couple of hours I had learn't some really useful phrases & ready to try them out on my holiday. You get two cds that are full of useful stuff. The book repeats all the key information making it handy to popin your pocket when wandering around. Thumbs up & a great price too!
